Part of this pubs appeal is the history in every nook and cranny of the bar. Inside you'll often find the locals and regular dog walkers enjoying a drink. There is comfortable seating around a wrap around bar and plenty of delicious local ales to choose from. All our food menus are available in the Bar area if you wish to dine with you four legged friend.
And it is less than a 10 minutes drive from Trewithen Farm Glamping's luxury pods, or a 30 minute stroll through the pretty Laneast valley if you feel like a walk.

Eat and drink in Cornwall’s only Gin Hotel…
Since 1764 the house has been home to the finer things in life, and with each new generation of custodians bringing a new vigor and focus to the building there really is nowhere quite like The Eagle House Hotel.
The private house became a hotel in the 1960’s, and has since then been the only place to celebrate life’s milestones in town.
In 2019 the Eagle expanded the gin arm of the business, and later that year they installed Bob, a 230 litre bespoke still, designed and made to bring you fabulous gin with unique flavours.
A stunning distillery terrace completed the public area renovation and provides the perfect spot to enjoy a beautiful sunset (weather permitting of course!)
